Forme will fit into a standard 100mm (or thicker) drywall and the only additional work required will be timber installed into the "C" Channel or stud for Forme to get a solid fixing. The openings will need to be taped, jointed and sanded flat and decorated prior to the Forme installation. Forme will come in a finished product and will only require assembling.
Forme partitions can include single, sliding or double doors. All swing type doors have a full width jamb profiled frame top and sides. Stainless steel pull handle assemblies. Hydraulic surface mounted door closers, supplied with brushed finished stainless cover. Electronic security options including magnetic lock or we can liaise with your security consultant/supplier.
The partitioning has a adjustable Shadow Detail around the top and side profiles that is mechanically driven to give flexibility and allow for a site build tolerance of 6mm (+/-3mm).
15mm adjustable shadow detail to the top and side profile of all partitions, allows for site build tolerance of +/- 3mm (6mm total). 15mm fixed shadow detail to floor profile.
All doors come as standard with ‘Bat Wings’ acoustic frame seals and magnet catches that hold them shut. The installed laminated safety glass options range from 6.8mm toughened to 10.8mm acoustic and the partition has a DB rating of 35 to 38. This value relates to the glass element only.
Door hinges were designed and manufactured in Cornwall specifically for Forme. They are milled stainless with brass bearings. The handle detail is in mild steel and milled solid stainless. All frames come with knock outs for locks, door closers and lock plates as standard.
At Forme we use 3D CAD software throughout the process to develop the design and produce visuals, as well as during the manufacturing and engineering process. Forme partitioning is fabricated using precision technologies such as Rotary CNC Laser cutting, as well as handcrafted finishing techniques to ensure a unique and superb level of finish is consistently achieved.
Colour and fenestration detail
As a standard the product can be supplied raw or in any BS or RAL colour. Other paint finishes and specialist finishes can be provided but may affect lead times subject to the processes involved. The fenestration can be supplied with any option on frequency and geometric pattern.
The partitioning arrives on site in assembled form and is unpacked, installed, snagged and protected by a highly skilled, quick and quiet Forme installation team. RAMS’ are provided in advance and all of our operatives will be wearing Forme branded PPE for compliance and identification.
From aperture measurement we would normally suggest a lead time of 4-6 weeks.
Procurement starts by working closely with the client to establish the most efficient partitioning layout in plan. The earlier Forme can be involved in the layout of the site work apertures the more efficient the partition system becomes. From these initial communications we can quickly establish the quantities of the partitioning modules and doors, and so an accurate estimate can be given. Quotes are only offered alongside elevation drawings and normally only after a site visit.
